We started with one question: why do men settle for socks that slip, stretch out, and fall apart? Two million pairs later, we are still answering it.

From Clarksdale to Your Closet

DeadSoxy was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi — a small town in the Mississippi Delta known more for blues music than fashion innovation. But that is exactly where founder Jason Simmons realized that the men's sock market had a massive gap. Every pair he owned either slid down his calf by lunch, lost its shape after a few washes, or simply did not feel like something worth wearing under a good pair of shoes.

The problem was not a lack of socks on the market. It was a lack of socks built with actual intention. So Jason set out to build a sock brand from the ground up — one that treated a seemingly simple product with the same engineering mindset you would expect from premium footwear or performance apparel.

That decision led to partnerships with mills that operate 200-needle knitting machines, proprietary construction techniques, and a commitment to materials and testing that most sock companies simply skip. The result is DeadSoxy: dress socks engineered for men who notice the difference.

Jason Simmons is the founder and CEO of DeadSoxy. A Mississippi native with a background in business development and brand building, Jason launched DeadSoxy after years of frustration with the quality gap in men's dress socks. What started as a personal mission to build a better sock became a brand trusted by hundreds of thousands of customers and businesses across the country.

Jason oversees every aspect of the business — from product development and manufacturing partnerships to brand strategy and customer experience. He is hands-on with quality testing, personally reviews customer feedback, and remains directly involved in the design process for every new product and custom order.
